Happy 2nd Birthday To Us! Celebrate with 20% off our Cotswold Baby Co. Collection today!

Bertie Fox is delighted to officially launch the Cotswold Baby Co. Collection today, our second birthday, with brand new pieces that are perfect for all-year-round gifting.

We can’t quite believe that we are 2 already, and have had another super-busy and exciting 12 months building our brand, expanding our ranges, launching our sister business The Baby Gifting Co., and meeting lots more customers out at local Cotswold shows. Plus, most important of all, Kate has kept the #littlecub model production line going with the safe arrival of Percy in June – the squishiest ball of cuteness ever (and he STILL smells new!).

As a big thank you to you, our customers and followers, for your support this year, we’d like you to help us celebrate our birthday today (October 11th 2019), with 20% off our entire Cotswold Baby Co. Collection. Check out the collection here, and use the code HAPPYBIRTHDAY at the checkout.

So what’s new for Autumn in our own range? Well, following the success of our Cheeky Horse T-shirt, designed by the talented illustrator Verity Robson (@verityrobson), we worked with our original foxy logo designer Lucy Adams (@lucy_adams), who created a simple red tractor, and we expanded our range in the Spring to include t-shirts (now available in long-sleeve for the winter!), bodysuits, sleepsuits and blankets.

And, because we know our customers love farm life, over the summer we have worked with fellow Mumboss, Kat Philpott (below) to create these gorgeous cow and sheep designs that now feature on t-shirts, bodysuits, and pyjamas! Kat can be found on instagram @kat.designer.illustrator, and lives nearby in Stratford-upon-Avon with her husband and 2 year old daughter, where if she isn’t “running around after my little one, covered in paint and trying to extract playdough from the rug, then I am fulfilling my lifelong passion of Graphic Design by saying “YES!” to all sorts of lovely projects that come my way.

After training to become a Graphic Designer 10 years ago, she is now busy freelancing for a number of clients who like her mix of Graphic Design and Illustration, “Unique illustrations were something that I wanted to incorporate into my work for a long time, and now that I have my own business, I am able to do exactly that”.

We had great fun working with Kat to get our Mooo! and Little Lamb characters just right, and Kat agrees: “Bringing the lamb and the cow to life was the best part about this project and allowed me to work every day with a smile on my face. How can you not smile at their cute faces?! My favourite product is definitely the pyjamas in the lamb design and I can’t wait for my daughter to wear hers!”

Kat pulls packages together for other businesses to include designs for everything from their Social Media and website, to their brochures and literature, and is looking forward to taking on more illustrative work, as companies seem to like the unique, personal feel that an illustration gives.

Last week we found an hour when the rain stopped at Westonbirt Arboretum, and the ever-patient Joanna Osborne took some beautiful photos of our new range – we think you’ll agree that our little cubs look gorgeous!

Check out the collection here.

And raise your glass (of lemsip, gin or water) to us this weekend to toast 2 Mums celebrating 2 years of business!
